Skilnet Sports Management scouts for talents in Walewale, Northern Region

The event took place on Friday 18 December. Brothers Raymond and William Owusu Takyi were warmly received by the organizer Ayinbire Norbert (Elegant) a club promoter/marketer and also a diligent astute player’s manager.

Upon their successful arrival on Friday the organizers decided to divide the program into two sections; Colts under 17 and Division 1-3 Players.

The first and final days brought about the revelations of some exciting players from Young Barcelona FC, Shooting Stars SC, Bangmarigu FC, Walewale Catholic Stars and West Mamprusi United Fc, Gbimsi United Fc, Wulugu United as well as United Babies Fc. ‘I am amazed with the level of the players, natural gifted talents,’ the CEO of Skilnet William Owusu said.

He also bemoaned how exceptional and naturally gifted soccer talents are been wasted in Walewale, N/R. due to the lack of opportunities and sponsorship of players and clubs in the area.

Mr. Owusu also declared to the clubs his intention of seeking help from Institutions and foreign contacts in the kind of training kits, equipment and jerseys to the society.

Modernghana.com also spoke to the sole organizer of the program Mr. Norbert Ayinbire who expressed his heart felt gratitude to Skilnet for accepting his invitation and also declared his long-term vision of exporting at least ten players to Europe and other parts of the world within the next two years and also to get at least three national team regulars from the area before the end of 2018.
